Mental Health Act 1983/2007 Awareness
To explore the Mental Health Act 1983 (which was updated in 2007) as they relate to participants’ everyday work settings. The structure of this session is that the morning is devoted to an overview of the Mental Health Act. The afternoon is much more practical and interactive, relating the morning’s theory to real-life examples such as existing case law and case studies
Anyone working in a health and/or social care setting. It is helpful if all participants are working in similar settings. Remember this is a basic awareness session.
Venue and duration
Your own training room. A full day is certainly best. We could squeeze the training into a half day if you wish, but you would have to tell us what to cover, and what to leave out.
