Working with reluctant, resistant or poorly motivated people
To give participants an idea of why people may be reluctant, resistant or poorly motivated, and what they can do about it. NB the “reluctant, resistant or poorly motivated people” in question could equally be service users or members of staff.
Staff members of any grade, but it is helpful if all participants have something in common with each other (eg they are all working with the same sorts of service user groups, or they are all supervising junior members of staff etc)
Venue and duration
Your own training room. A full day is certainly best. We could squeeze the training into a half day if you wish, but you would have to tell us what to cover, and what to leave out.
