Safeguarding Adults – Best Practice for Planning Meetings
To enable managers and senior staff to chair and/or contribute to Safeguarding Adults Planning Meetings (sometimes called “strategy meetings” or “case conferences”) effectively and in line with the Care Act 2014, ensuring a safe outcome for the service user consistent wherever possible with their chosen outcome(s).
Senior or experienced adult social care staff who are required to chair and/or attend such meetings. All participants would be expected to have a firm grasp of Safeguarding issues prior to attending this training
Venue and duration
Your own training room. A full day is certainly best. We could squeeze the training into a half day if you wish, but you would have to tell us what to cover, and what to leave out.
