Training in specific conditions
The team at St Thomas training provides a wide range of courses in working with specific conditions. Some of these are awareness sessions, others go into more depth.
All sessions are delivered by an expert trainer who has worked with people who have that condition ... and in some cases the trainer him or herself has personal experience. Our approach is very person centred - ie we focus on the person rather than the condition.
Our current (2024) contracts for training in specific conditions include Birmingham City Council, London Borough of Havering, London Borough of Barking & Dagenham, London Borough of Waltham Forest, Thera Group, Break Charity, Leeway Domestic Violence and Abuse Services, Peterborough City Council and Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, as well as numerous ad hoc sessions for statutory, private, voluntary and independent organisations.
