Aim of course
A half- or (preferably) one-day training session to give participants an understanding of the various issues surrounding managing challenging behaviour in the health & social care sector Those working in health & social care often face challenging behaviour from those they care for. This can be due to strokes, learning disability, mental health issues, illness or other situations where the customer feels particularly confused, vulnerable or misunderstood. This course will look at different ways of reacting to the behaviour of their particular client group, to enable staff and managers to better care for their customers.
