A one-day training session to give participants an understanding of the various issues surrounding working with people who have a learning disability – and dementia. The main aims of the programme are: To introduce participants to the main issues involved in working with service users who may have both a learning disability and dementia; to enable participants to develop their thinking around these issues; and to enhance working practice when working with this group
People working within the care sector in a variety of roles including: carers, nurses, cleaners, domiciliary carers, managers, chefs, kitchen assistants, domestics & office staff
